In the beginning You created the world

For the image of God to rule;

One man and one woman were made to serve You,

But instead, they played the fool.

One woman and one man disobeyed your command,

And as their child, I shared in their sin;

But you made a way for the world to be saved,

Now I am born again!

Thousands of years darkness covered the land

Waiting for the curse to be healed;

Then Jesus Christ came to earth as a man,

The angels sang a chorus when You came to Earth for us

When You died, the Earth darkened in shame

Then You rose from the dead, just like You said,

So all who believe would be saved!
